Information Collection and Use

Action Factor, Inc. is the sole owner and user of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others. Action Factor, Inc. collects information from our customers during the product ordering process.

Product Ordering Process

We request information from the customer on our order form. Here a customer must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number and expiration date) This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customers’ orders. If we have trouble processing an order, the contact information is used to get in touch with the customer. Order information (including credit card data) is encrypted and temporarily stored on a secure online server during order processing and billing. After the order is completed and billed, the information is removed from the secure server. Customers have the option to establish an account containing contact and shipping information to avoid reentering that data, however, this is not required to place an order.

Log Files

We use IP (Internet Protocol) addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, and track movement within our site. IP addresses are not linked to any personally identifiable information.

Sharing

We do not share any information with third parties.

Off-Site Links

This website contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we at Action Factor, Inc. are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our customers to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. Our privacy statement applies solely to information collected by Action Factor, Inc.

Security

Action Factor, Inc. takes every precaution to protect customers’ information. When customers submit sensitive information via the website, that information is protected both online and offline.

When our registration/order form asks customers to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), the transmission of that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). While on a secure page such as our order form, the beginning characters of the URL displayed at the top of your browser will show “https://www.....” as opposed to the usual “http://www.....” when you are just “surfing.”

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect customer information offline. All of our customers’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our office. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. In addition, credit card information is internally encrypted while temporarily stored on our server, and is deleted after order processing is complete. If you have any questions about the security at our website, you can send an email to:email address

We retain the services of GeoTrust to provide the security certification for our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), and to scan our server files for malicious software (malware) insertion. If GeoTrust detects any problems, their seal (shown on left) will display a warning to you, and at the same time we'll be alerted to deal with the issue.

Correction/Updating/Removing Personal Information

If a customer’s personally identifiable information changes (such as the zip code), or if a customer no longer desires our service, we will provide the means to correct, update or remove that customer’s personal data. This can be done by editing the online store customer account information. Alternatively, the customer may request that Action Factor make the desired changes by contacting us directly.

Notification of Changes

If we need to change our privacy policy, we will post a notice of those changes on our Home Page so our customers are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify customers by email. Customers will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner.
